Online Worship
We are working to be online for our more formal services and special events, but that won’t be every Sunday as our more casual and interactive services don't translate well online. We will put out a schedule soon detailing which Sundays will feature online worship.
Prayer Requests
A special part of our worship is being able to pray for our joys and concerns. Please take a minute and let us know of something we can pray for in our online worship and in-person worship.
Please include whether your prayer request should stay confidential.
Give through Westminster
When you give to your church, it's so much than supporting just the church. Many of our supports and programs including Pastoral Care, Grief Workshop, Cooking Connexions (and many others), are only made possible by supporting your church.
Connexions Café
Join us before worship for Connexions Café! Coffee, juice and tea are provided starting at 10:00am. Our greeters are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Comfortable Seating
There are two seating options available in our sanctuary space. Enjoy the cushioned chairs for a comfortable experience or sit at the table with bar stools for a more casual vibe!
Family Environment
Young children can find toys, books and colouring to use in the sanctuary during worship.
Need a space to feed your babe? The Upper Room (located at the back of the sanctuary) is available for anyone needing a quiet space during worship. This room has a speaker with the audio feed which can be adjusted. Feel free to close the curtain and dim the lights to create the best setting for you!
Accessibility
Washrooms are located on the bottom level of the building. There are women's and men's washrooms, as well as one non-gender, family and wheelchair accessible washroom.
Westminster is wheelchair accessible to all levels with assistance. Our elevator operator is available to assist you entering and exiting the building.
Westminster United Church is a fully heated and air conditioned space depending on the season.

We acknowledge this land and work for a better tomorrow
Our building is located on the traditional territory of the Anishnabek, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), and Ojibway/Chippewa peoples—a territory covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. We are grateful to have the opportunity to worship on this land and work toward right relations with one another. May we listen to the voice of Truth and Reconciliation that calls to us today and invites us to work toward a better tomorrow with all our relations.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Worship at Westminster follows a more traditional-style service with hymn singing and choir. Our worship is also blended with some worship songs. We find the atmosphere is a mix of formal, casual and relaxed.
Not at this time. Kids are welcome to bring activities with them into church. The church has toys and colouring available.
Whatever YOU want! Some wear their “Sunday best,” many others wear comfortable, casual clothes. We’re more interested in who you are, than in what you wear.
No one is expected to give on Sunday morning. We believe that as Christians we should be good stewards of our resources. This can be how we spend our time, employ our talents and skills, how we care for our bodies and make healthy choices, how we set our priorities in our life, how we manage our relationships, care for the environment, and practise our faith.
We participate in God’s mission by giving the gifts that God has entrusted to us. If you feel called to give, consider what gifts you can offer.
If this is a monetary gift, there are many ways to give through Westminster.
If this is a gift of time, please be in touch with someone on our team.
Westminster is located on the corner of George St. / Delatre St.
On Sunday mornings, parking is available in our own parking lot on Delatre St., along the wide curbs of Delatre St. & George St., or across George St. in the Zorra township parking area.
During the week, please be respectful to our neighbours by using our own parking lot on Delatre St.
Westminster is wheelchair accessible with assistance. Our front entrance is equipped with a lift to access the sanctuary (upstairs) and accessible washroom (downstairs). Our building does not have automatic doors and may need assistance. Otherwise, all main rooms are wheelchair accessible.
