The prayer shawls and pocket prayer shawls that we make are handed out for people that are in hospital, nursing homes, retirement homes or just need a hug. We are a small group but we have fun while knitting! Anyone that is interested in knitting or crocheting you are more than welcome to join us. Grief Workshop

The Grief Workshop is an 8 week Edu-Therapy program beginning on March 19th. There are over 60 things that might cause one to grieve, including death, divorce, childhood issues, job loss, empty nest, aging, relocating and many others. We welcome new comers as well as those who would like to take the course again. We can teach you how to find joy in your life again. Your cost for the entire course is $75. Cooking Connexion

Cooking Connexion is a monthly social and food experience, offering a cooked meal and fellowship to single individuals in the Thamesford community. Together we prepare, nutritious, home style cooking and everyone participates in the preparation, cooking and clean up. Participants pay $10 for a lovely sit down meal, with enough food to take home for another meal later in the week. For more information, please contact Mariette Bardoel at 519-533-7515.

Death Café

Sunday, April 13th | 1:30pm

Westminister is holding a Death Cafe on December 1st at 1:30pm, intended to allow people an opportunity to talk about any aspect of death that often we don’t feel comfortable discussing. These conversations, accompanied by coffee and cake, can be liberating and are always enjoyable! Hope you can join us! Future Death Cafés: June 8.

Word Alive
