Cooking Connexion

Cooking Connexion is a monthly social and food experience, offering a cooked meal and fellowship to single individuals in the Thamesford community. Together we prepare, nutritious, home style cooking and everyone participates in the preparation, cooking and clean up. Participants pay $10 for a lovely sit down meal, with enough food to take home for another meal later in the week. For more information, please contact Mariette Bardoel at 519-533-7515.

ANNUAL YARD SALE
Saturday, May 17th | 8AM-1PM
We will be accepting donations of items that are clean and in good, or repairable condition, on Tuesday May 13, between 10 am & 6 pm. To make other arrangements for drop off contact Mariette 519-533-7515.
Besides your regular household items, we also appreciate the following: fashion accessories like jewelry and purses, vintage items, books and reusable shopping bags.
Please consider volunteering for a time slot on Monday May 12, Tuesday May 13, Thursday May 15 and Saturday May 17, contact Elaine at 519-485-0288.

The prayer shawls and pocket prayer shawls that we make are handed out for people that are in hospital, nursing homes, retirement homes or just need a hug. We are a small group but we have fun while knitting! Anyone that is interested in knitting or crocheting you are more than welcome to join us. We are willing to teach anyone how to knit and crochet if you would like to learn. Come share some connexions with us and others! Contact Ann Wilson if you're interested at 519-485-6595

Westminister is holding a Death Cafe on December 1st at 1:30pm, intended to allow people an opportunity to talk about any aspect of death that often we don’t feel comfortable discussing. These conversations, accompanied by coffee and cake, can be liberating and are always enjoyable! Hope you can join us!
